Lithium batteries have become a staple of most laptops and desktop computers, but they are not the only option for powering them.

The next generation battery technology is a breakthrough that makes it possible to run laptops and other portable devices in battery power, even when they’re powered from the USB port.

With this breakthrough, Lithium-ion batteries can be used in smartphones, tablets, and portable computers that have a removable battery, which allows them to charge and discharge independently.

Samsung’s announcement of its new battery technology came two days after it announced a new lithium-air battery that uses similar technology.

It was announced on Thursday, March 7th, with a press release titled “Lithium-air Battery for Mobile Phones.”
